1. Our Contract

Our web-site, Ebay and Amazon listings and information pack invites You to buy Goods from Us. A legally binding contract with You will only arise once we have received payment for the Goods in full from You. We shall notify You of acceptance of Your order by e-mail to the e-mail address given by You in the order form.

2. Price

2.1 The price for any Goods ordered by You will be the price shown on our price list or otherwise quoted by our employees at the time You place Your order and will include all taxes applicable from time to time.
2.2 Subject to clause 4, We will debit the price, plus any delivery charge, from Your debit or credit card when We receive Your order or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter. If more than one item is ordered We may deliver the Goods in instalments.

3. Stock shortages

If the Goods or the fabric You order are unavailable We will notify You as soon as possible and suggest a suitable replacement.

4. Returns Cancellations & Amendments

The Company's policy on returns and cancellations is as follows:

4.1 For made to measire blinds (ie. Made to the sizes as supplied by you) cancellation of the order or return is not accepted.  This is because the manufacture of the blinds starts immediately and the blinds are made to your specification.  Therefore in accordance with Reg. 13(1)(c) of the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, conditions 7.2, 7.3 and 7.4 shall not apply.

The only exceptions to this are if the blinds are damaged in transit (and signed for as such), defective or made incorrectly in which cases we may collect the goods and replacements will be supplied or the purchase price refunded.

4.2 For non made to measure items you may cancel your order and return the goods no later than 21 days after the date of delivery of the goods by delivering a cancellation notice to our email address and obtaining a returns number.

You must return the goods to the advised return address at your cost and expense unless the item is faulty in which case we will either arrange collection or refund actual postage costs.  Refund by your original payment method will be made within 5 days of receipt of the returned goods at our address.

4.3 Cancellations and amendments of orders for Made-to-measure/custom made products (as detailed in 4.1) will be accepted within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Beyond this point blinds will be entered into the manufacturing process and since products are custom-made to your specification, amendments and cancellations regrettably cannot be accepted. 

5. Product Descriptions and Measurement

5.1 The product information and photographs contained within Our web-site are provided for illustrative purposes only and We cannot warrant that they are accurate. If You are in any doubt as to the precise nature of the product or fabric You wish to order, You are advised to order a free sample of the product.

5.2 As the Goods which You order are manufactured according to the measurements You provide in Your order it is very important that Your measurements are accurate. We cannot accept the return of the Goods by reason of the measurements provided being incorrect. You are advised to read the How to Measure pages of Our sample pack or call Our enquiry line on 01205 808033 or contact us by e-mail on if You would like guidance on how to take the required measurements accurately.

5.3 Whilst every attempt will be made by Blinds 247 to ensure that the Goods sold and delivered match in every respect any sample or description shown or given or sent to You, any minor or immaterial variation or change in colour or pattern between the sample or description and the Goods delivered shall not entitle You to reject the Goods nor to claim any compensation for such variation or change.

6. Notification of Loss or Damage

Any defect in the quality or condition of the goods must be notified to Blinds 247 (Suntec Blinds Ltd) within 3 days from the date of delivery (whether or not delivery is refused by the buyer), otherwise Blinds 247 (Suntec Blinds Ltd) shall have no liability for such defect.

By signing our carrier’s receipt you are confirming that the goods have been received in good condition.  You should therefore check for any signs of damage and sign for them accordingly.  We shall have no liability for any damaged goods which have been signed for as being in good condition.

7. Representations

No statement, description, or recommendation contained in any catalogue, price list, advertisement, communication, the pages of our web-site or by any employee or agent of Suntec Blinds  Limited shall be interpreted so as to enlarge, vary or override in any way any of these terms and conditions.  Any delivery dates given are an indication only ane not a term of the contract

8. Events Beyond Our Control

We shall have no liability to You for any failure to deliver Goods You have ordered or for any delay in doing so or for any change of the specified delivery date or for any damage or defect to Goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond Our reasonable control including, without limitation, third party default, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.

9. Invalidity

If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which We exclude our liability to You) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

11. Governing Law

This contract is subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
